Taste of the Himalayas

Great variety of dishes. I love that they ask your spiciness preference. Hint: zero means zero and dishes with zero were really bland. I don’t like my food hot at all and 3 to 4 was very good for me. Decor is really nice with brick walls and a nice patio. Service was very slow for the place being not busy at all. Plenty of parking on the front and back street.

Lamb or veggie it was all delicious and beautiful restaurant. Sizes you can share or keep for yourself appetizers are larger as well. Spice level is 1-10 I had 5 and it was perfect.

Very disappointed with the food. The Chicken Tandoori was not properly cooked, had almost no masala or flavor, and tasted very bland. The mango lassi was good, but it was served without any proper lid or seal..Overall, not a good experience.

Have been here four times after the San Diego Zoo and the food never disappoints. The Himalayan seasonings are amazing. They listen to me when I say "make it a 10 spice!" Just go.

Fantastic food, reasonably priced, great atmosphere and really friendly staff. Honestly, I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. I will definitely go back if in the area. The photo might look a little misleading. It’s actually a pretty big portion. I had the samosas, some naan and the tikka masala. 10/10!
