Taste of Philly

This is a prime example of not judging a book by its cover. A little rough around the edges but the food is well worth it. Ordered a Philly Cheese Steak and although my first one and not much to compare to, I thought it was really good. My son loved his Ham and Cheese Grinder. Fresh cut Fair style fries rocked! Friendly staff. Some limited booth and rail seating inside with a few booths outside to sit at.

The atmosphere is severely lacking. It needs updating pretty badly. The young man that helped me was very friendly. However, the older woman that helped my friend gave rascist vibes and made her feel uncomfortable when taking her order. The food takes some time to be made and to get, so I suggest ordering ahead if possible. I ate the Philly and it was great. I got a piece of lemon berry cake. It was really good, but expensive. More than $7 for the slice. My friends ate the Philly and chicken Philly and were satisfied with their food.

Where has this place been my whole life?! The Philly Cheesesteak is next level good. Got mine with the peppers and mushrooms and was blown away by the flavor. The staff is fun and friendly. The atmosphere is great but basic and sparse. I sat in a booth near the refrigerator coolers and by a speaker playing 80’s rock.. not fancy, but perfect!

Best cheesesteak we’ve had since moving here from the Philly area 2 years ago 👏🏻👏🏻 fries are fresh cut and cooked to perfection!!!!
