Taste of Jamaica

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The meat patties were old, hard, and stiff, and the jerk chicken was mixed into the rice with only small pieces of chicken throughout. This was by far the worst I’ve had. I expected much better and was truly let down.

Desmond showed us a wonderful time on this snow day. He was appreciative we came in and we were glad he was one of the few spots open . Great customer service. My shrimp curry was delicious and jerk chicken fried rice it was good per usual. Definitely will be back and try more things

I ate at this place 2 years ago and the food was okay but I don't know if they have changed owners or its a new cook but I went in today and the food was not worth $30. Also on the website they have not updated the prices and once I was told price I asked why web is different. She should have explained that once I ordered because I told her about it and she could knocked the price down due to miss information. They put more rice than a mix and the oxtails did not have any seasoning and was burnt.

Ordered oxtails and rasta pasta. Oxtails were dry, vegetables were definitely made from frozen, some you couldn't chew. Had to wait over 30 minutes for the pasta, after my order should have been ready, but kept saying every ten minutes that it would be ready in 10 more minutes. Finally got the food and the pasta was super over cooked and was very bland. Lady at the front had her 3 or 4 little kids to the side of the ordering station and one of them went and got her some food from Burger King that she proceeded to eat behind the counter while taking orders, she all honestly could have been more friendly. There were about 7 people in there waiting for food and it seemed like everyone had some type of issue with their order. As high priced as their food is, you would think the quality of the

Great customer service. Nothing against the owners or the establishment, but the food is terrible. We got oxtails and curry goat. There was more salt than flavor like the food was so salty. Rice and peas are good. But cabbage had mixed vegetables in it and was boiled, so bland and no texture just mush. Maybe I caught this restaurant on a bad day, this was our first time there, but we won’t be going back.
