Lancaster Veterans Memorial Library

To those of you that are leaving terrible reviews, have you stopped to consider the community and government efforts to make the library better? You probably haven’t because neither of those two groups do anything. No one is donating books and the government isn’t funded enough to get better books. Lancaster is a small, lower-middle class town. Instead of complaining, work to make it better.

They charge $1(each copy) to email yourself a document. Might I suggest that you set up a scanner/fax machine in the library and let the customer access this. Sending emails to “self” is usually free in other states. Lastly, supply the computer users with wipes to disinfect the computer keyboard and surface area.

Closed due to "mechanical issues" with no re-opening date or alternates available from the city. Fund the library! Give them resources and programming!

Limited selection but a quiet place to study especially if you’re a teen parent or have to babysit while you study.

A nice, large library with a decent selection of books & other media to choose from. The people behind the desk were helpful when, last minute, I realized I needed to have a virtual meeting and they offered the conference room. Granted, most of the time I feel like an inconvenience to some of the people that work there lol. No one has been outright rude to me, but not everyone is friendly in the way you might expect at a library. I enjoy the library for the most part, though. I've never had a bad experience in all my years of going.
