Taste of China

Taste of China in is one of my favorite spots for Chinese food! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and comes out hot. The portions are generous and everything tastes authentic and well-seasoned. The staff is friendly and the service is quick, whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout. The restaurant is clean and has a comfortable atmosphere. If you’re in Evansville and craving Chinese food, I definitely recommend giving Taste of China a try!

The food tastes fresh and flavorful every single time. The General Tso’s chicken is crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in a perfectly balanced sweet and-spicy sauce. The shrimp fried rice is packed with flavor not greasy, just well-seasoned and cooked right. Their dumplings are soft, juicy, and taste homemade.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. In my opinion it’s the best Chinese food in Evansville. It’s very consistent. I’ve been going there for 6 or 7 years now and they’ve NEVER gotten my order wrong. I would definitely recommend the general Tao’s chicken or sesame chicken. The portions are large while only ranging from 13$ to 15$ for a large meal that comes with pint of rice. The new cashier is also very friendly. If your in the area you gotta try this place at least once

Food is always consistently good. We order quite often from here and have only ever had one issue with them for forgetting part of my order. A simple phone call and it was fixed quickly!

Usually had good food here. I get the sweet and sour chicken. This last visit, the chicken was old. It was not freshly made. It was tough and chewy. Do not serve that to your customers or you will lose customers. Serve them fresh food for their money.
