I cannot say enough great things about this organization. It’s clear that their mission is driven by genuine compassion and a deep commitment to serving the community. They don’t just talk about making a difference; they actively show up, put in the work, and create real impact in people’s lives. What truly stands out is their dedication, transparency, and the way they treat everyone with dignity and respect. Courtney and his team go above and beyond to ensure resources are used responsibly and effectively. You can see the results of their efforts in the lives they touch and the positive change they create.

Y & E Community Center has been an outstanding partner to our school community. We are sincerely grateful for their support in providing healthy snacks for our ILEARN CheckPoint testing, which helped ensure our students were nourished and ready to do their best. Beyond this support, Y & E continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to student growth by partnering with us to promote and leverage summer reading, helping our students maintain and build their skills beyond the school year. Mr. Johnson is consistently responsive and supportive. It is reassuring to know he is always just a text away when our students or the school needs assistance. Thank you to Y & E for your continued partnership, reliability, and dedication to our students’ success.

Courtney was kind enough to come by Harrison High School in the middle of his morning to talk to our Key Club members about the ways Young & Established helps people in our community, as well as how our teams could partner together. Key Club is a community service organization, so I knew that our group of very active members would be interested in what Courtney had to say. They took his words and advice to heart, telling him about the ideas they have to improve their community. Courtney jumped right in to help, saying he would come by at the end of the week with socks and blankets to get our sock/blanket restock drive off to a great start. The students left energized about this new partnership. As a teacher, there is nothing better than seeing your students excited about something - espec

Young and Established is an incredible nonprofit that truly makes a difference in Evansville. They consistently provide food, clothing, school supplies, and other essential resources to children and families in need while promoting positive growth and leadership in youth. Their weekly food drives are especially impactful and help address food insecurity in our community. Highly recommend supporting this organization.

When you think of advocacy, community, consistency, relatability and strategic organizational and community-based CHANGE. You must keep Y&E at the front of change and uplifting the Evansville community. Y&E does not focus efforts on sections of the city, and instead connects and partners with everyone who is working to improve our community at large. Y&E is the blueprint to community-based work, and being a boots on the ground organization.
