Ordered food on doordash and it was fresh and delicious. Idk what happened a couple years ago for the bad reviews but as of 2026 this place is a 10/10 TO DIE FOR! Get it now!!

My go-to for soul food in my area! Everything from the sides dishes to the main courses are well seasoned and plentiful......most times I order I have about half of my food left for seconds. Probably been eating with them since their first location years ago and they've only improved in quality 👌🏾

Ignore every bad review because this spot never misses!!! Each meal I’ve ordered has been perfection and this is my go-to for Soul Food in Greater Hartford. My first time trying the fish today and it is so flavorful and moist. I usually order takeout too so bonus points for the food tasting as fresh as eating in.

First time ever walking in the store and I asked to used the bathroom and they said yes then one of the staff members mouths off about leaving the seat up very rudely. Hope she heals from what makes her think its okay to treat people like this.

I ordered wings and they were extremely overcooked. I could barely bite into them. It tasted like leftover wings that were fried again. I also ordered the mango shrimp, mac and cheese and yams through DoorDash. They called me telling me they had no yams and literally told me I need to hurry up and choose a different side. Don’t waste your time here.
