The Bloomfield Public Library – Prosser is an outstanding community resource that feels welcoming, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed for visitors of all ages. From the moment you walk in, the environment is calm, clean, and inviting—perfect for studying, reading, or just enjoying some quiet time. The selection of books, multimedia, and resources is impressive, with a great mix of classics, new releases, and materials for kids and teens. Whether you’re looking for fiction, research resources, or fun programs, there’s something for everyone. What really stands out are the staff—they are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help with finding materials, answering questions, or pointing you toward the right resources. The library also hosts excellent community programs, events, a

The newly built library is beautiful, with a spacious open design, plenty of areas for remote work, private study rooms, and large windows that fill the space with natural light.

Got to tour the NEW Prosser Library today. They should have delayed this Ribbon Cutting / Tour to a much later date As a taxpayer I am truly saddened to see my hard earned money wasted so horribly The old Prosser Library looks like a GEM compared to this modern structure with noticeably poor fit and finish. Pictures say it all. No need to go on, I won’t bother going back. Approximately $35 million we will never get back The building and what I see does not match the overall cost

Very friendly and helpful librarians. Please continue the children's programming and add more late afternoon/evening options for school age children.

I was born and raised in this town. Since my first elementary school trip to Prosser Library; I love the resources offered to town residents. Processor a is an A+ facility that feels more like a living room than library. For my son's first 10 years of life, we visited Prossor's Children Library at least once a week. He still loves it, but he's 13 and his interests have expanded. Prosser offers more than reading materials: adult, family, infant, toddler, and children activities. They also have passes and discounts to science centers and other educational places throughout the state. Their help desk is a great resource; call them before you go, it could save you a trip through town.
