This is my second time ordering from Tarin Thai in Baltimore, and I can honestly say the food has been incredible both times. I ordered a variety of dishes because I wanted to try a little bit of everything, and every single item was amazing from start to finish. The woman who answered the phone was so kind, patient, and genuinely sweet. I explained that I didn’t want “American spicy” — I wanted true Thai-level heat. I love extremely spicy food and can handle ghost peppers and Carolina Reapers, so I asked for the highest spice level. They absolutely delivered. Excellent food, extremely quick service, friendly atmosphere. I came in for a late lunch and ordered through their website. I anticipated it would take the 20 minute drive over to be ready, but the food was done 8 minutes after I ordered. The food was still hot and ready for me when I arrived. I ordered Pad See Ew, Mango Sticky Rice, and a Thai Tea with boba. The portion sizes were excellent and I really appreciated that, even though I ordered a 0 on the spice scale, the Pad See Ew was flavorful and yummy. Sometimes it feels like restaraunts just season with salt if you need the food mild (autistic sensory processing) which is understandable but far less enjoyable than this was.
