Taquería Rincón Alteño

Unbelievably delicious burrito the size of my head (pretty big) and the hard shell tacos were a pleasant surprise. Warm service. Clean establishment with a space to eat in the back. Made with love. Will come back next time in SB.

First and probably last time at this place. With the cold weather this morning, I was craving a nice bowl of menudo to kickstart my day. The places that I normally would go to said their menudo would not be ready for another hour or two, so out of convenience I came here. The good: Large portion Piping hot That about it. The rest: Service: dude at the counter must have had a rough night and didn’t seem like he wanted to be in today. When I ordered, he mumbled what I deduced to be the total, punched some numbers on the register, took my $20 and walked away. Yes, one bowl was $20, this is the most I’ve paid for a bowl. We go out for tacos every week, and finally made it to Rincon Alteno to try their infamous crispy tacos. We don't typically eat crispy tacos, but they did not disappoint. I really loved their salsas too. Nice heat. Outdoor seating wasn't set up the day we were there.

Incredible chorizo breakfast burrito that was made to order right in front of you. Very friendly staff with a hole in the wall atmosphere. Be aware it’s cash only.

Probably one of the best crispy authentic taco I have ever had. Pretty sure they fried my shell right there.
