Small red taquitos, the sopes and tostadas are delicious. They are not your traditional bistek or fajita tacos with cilantro and onion. These are more like shredder meat with a tomato sauce.
I can't believe this place has been here close to home for about 10 years, and I barely find out, so our first time here and I tell you it is way different from your typical taqueria. This is super delish. Simple very small menu but can't go wrong. The only meat they specialize is in Desebrada shreaded meat. And oh my goodness, it is delish if you're in a hurry for a quick bite. Food is good, hot, and well served. Now let me get one thing strait y'all it is Orange Corn Tortillas, not the common Taco stands. And they are a bit smaller than the average size, but they ain't shysty with the food. If you're a big eater, then I recommend the full dozen tacos, or 2 plates of tostadas or one and one. I've only tried these 2 dishes. I haven't tried the sopes or tamales. But I am absolutely sure the
Came to eat dinner w/family & honestly i will not come back to eat at this location. I’ll probably order for take out. We couldn’t eat at peace because the smell was unbearable. The service was ok but she never came back to ask if we needed something or anything. I understand they need breaks but this place was empty & she was in the back eating. My husband had to look for service after we ate & we didn’t know where to pay. Other than that the food was good.
Update: They increased their prices. Dozen went from $9.99 to $13.99, that’s a 40% increase no manchen! Ni que les pusieran aguacate 😂 Previous review: We come here often. Today, three tables that arrived after us got their food first. Waitress blamed it on the personnel inside, after another table getting their food before us I went to talk to them and they blamed it on the waitress. The tacos are delicious but what difference does it make when the customer service is the worst? This is the worst service I’ve received in a restaurant. This is constantly an issue here. And it happens because all the waitress they hire have no experience. Been a customer for years.
Menu is limited so be warned. The red tacos were good and better than the tamales. The charro beans were good as well. As for drinks they only have water and canned or bottle cokes from Mexico. Since they don't have iced tea I'm not planning to go back anytime soon.
