Taqueria Y Pupuseria Santa Rosa

Me and my husband loved these pupusas, they were perfect , flavor , texture, enough chicken, enough, salad enough salsa very friendly even gave our baby a stuffed animal , super sweet woman and delicious fresh food !! We will go back unless I learn to make my own pupusas lol

When my mom doesn’t make pupusas, this is one of the few places I visit to get my fix. I got a total of 4 pupusas. 2 cheese and 2 revueltas (mixed with chicharrón and cheese). I make two meals out of it. All the pupusas were soft and filled just right. Not too greasy also. I believe the cheese they used was mozzarella so you definitely get a nice cheese pull and the chicharrón was seasoned well and ground up nicely. I do wish there was a little more chicharrón. The pupusas are also served with curtido (cabbage slaw) and salsa. The curtido was fine. I like it more acidic to cut the richness of the pupusas. They also added fresh, sliced jalapeños. But I added some Tapatio to it for more of a kick. The salsa is basically tomato water with some cumin and other seasonings. Pretty bland. Th
