5 Stars If you’re anywhere near Havelock, Taqueria Tampiquena is an absolute must-visit! They serve the best street tacos in town—hands down. The flavors are bold, authentic, and made with love. Each taco is perfectly seasoned, the meats are juicy and tender, and the tortillas taste fresh and homemade. Whether you’re into carne asada, al pastor, or something more adventurous, every bite is packed with flavor. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. The food comes out hot and fast, and the portions are generous for the price. It’s one of those places where you can’t help but smile after your first bite. Do yourself a favor—skip the chains and head here for an unforgettable taco experience. Five stars all the way!
I LOVE THIS PLACE. Everything I order is so good. I don’t have a picture of the Birria pizza but I’m obsessed with it. If you’re thinking about trying this place, DO IT.
This place opened two weeks ago and after eating my food at home I can say this place is AMAZING! I got the Quesa Birria, it was PHENOMENAL! The young man at the counter greeted us as as soon as we came in, asked if we were dining in or carry out, gave us menus to look at, and took our order promptly. They made the food as soon as we ordered and included some chile (red and green sauce) in our bag to go, two of each might I add. The place was clean and well kept. I will definitely be a returning customer to this establishment.
Absolutely perfect! Came here to try out their food, and everything was delicious! Everything from their tacos, burritos, and CHILAQUILES, nothing was “eh” or above average it was EXCELLENT! Doesn’t come close to the other Mexican restaurant in the area. The tacos tortillas are homemade, their burritos are stuffed with proteins and are well made, their chilaquiles are mouthwatering. The atmosphere and service is AMAZING. Very friendly and great service. I come here at least once a week now.
This was SO. GOOD. Went with my two friends and we all loved the food. I had the birria ramen and it was a 20/10. Very flavorful and the meat was so tender. The sopes were good as well. The horchata was satisfying
