Being from Texas, we have high expectations when it comes to authentic Mexican food. But they definitely go above and beyond that expectation! My family ate at Taqueria Luciano. It is a very simple and plan looking restaurant but the food is so worth it. The warm chips served with a bean dip were a great start to the meal. The chip were a little salty for my preference but still very good. Our dedicated server, a friendly young lady, worked tirelessly to ensure our we all ok. The authenticity of their food is truly hard to find elsewhere. I felt like I was enjoying a home-cooked meal. Their aguas frescas were refreshingly homemade, you could hear the blender going before they were brought out. My mom happened to order some fries. I thought my son's comment was so funny as he said "Even the fries taste like the fries from Mexico" If I am ever in the area again I will be sure to eat here again.

This small but inviting authentic Mexican restaurant is amazing! The staff is super friendly and the food is awesome! All of their food is made from scratch, including the dough for various menu items and the desserts.

Easily the most authentic Mexican restaurant in the area, if not the Fox Valley, and it’s run by the sweetest people. The margarita was strong, the beer was cold, the staff were attentive, and the food was unique and delicious. Our favorite meat was the al pastor, seasoned marinated pork. It was rich, tender, smokey, and had just the right amount of heat and subtle sweetness to keep it perfectly complex. We started with homemade chips and beans, which were different than anywhere else we’ve had as the chips had a satisfyingly chewy crunch that paired well with the dip. My husband had the al pastor burrito, which was appropriately large, while I tried one each of the al pastor taco, carne asada taco, and pollo taco - all traditionally wrapped in corn tortillas and topped with cilantro and

Very clean, accommodating and friendly. Closest to REAL Mexican food on this side of the border. Food is fantastic!!!
