Taqueria Las Chicanitas

Went in on Sunday around lunch time, with my boyfriend, his brother, and my 76 year old grandmother. We walk in, they say sit anywhere, most of the employees were just sitting on a bench in the corner not doing anything. All but one of the tables were clean, and the floor looked to be as there was food and dirt all over it, like no one had swept in years. The service just wasn’t as it should be. My boyfriend got nachos, I got an ACP, same with his brother and my grandmother got two chicken tacos. They bring out our food and the ACPs were drowning in queso, there was more queso than there was chicken and rice. They gave my boyfriend a dirty fork. The chicken on my grandma’s tacos, just weren’t cooked right as we’ve eaten here before and it was delicious, the steak on his nachos was a grayis

Will update when home 😋 delicious food indeed. The sauces are spicy if you don’t know about them. Ordered 4 chicken and 4 carnitas tacos with carne asada and shrimp meal. The steak could have been better quality but it tasted decent, due to mine having a lot of bristle. Returned here and there wasn’t anyone in the restaurant. The rice was not freshly made please correct this

This is near the top of my worst dining experiences. The tacos were just ok. They were only $1.50 each so they are hard to complain about. The tortillas were prepped on the griddle, but not long enough for my liking. They were mushy and greasy but they didn't fall apart. I got asada and pastor tacos. The asada tasted like beef but it was mush. It started out as chunks of steak but I guess it had been cooked too much. The texture was just all wrong. The pastor meat was cooked better. It was just ok, not bad but not great. Then there's the tamal. This was the worst excuse for food I've ever had. The attached pic is what I saw as soon as I opened it. There was a small husk that the masa and meat were placed on top of and then it was all wrapped tightly in the foil to cook. None of the moistur

I love this place. The number one place to get tacos on Tuesday. I love this place!!!
