Small cozy place with authentic Mexican food. Everything freshly made full of flavors. Fresh made tortillas, decent portions. The wings were crispy with the right touch of bbq, the huarache was huge and the carnitas in salsa Verde had the perfect touch of spices with a delicious flavor. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. A must visit hidden gem.

We happened upon this authentic find while passing through town. We met another couple here after reading other reviews. This is as authentic as you will find. Open kitchen, knowledgeable staff, excellent service and appreciative to compliments. Stuck my head in the kitchen before departure to thank them for our great food and service. Even if not "on the way" to your destination, this restuarant is worth the detour and drive! Great job Los Compadres!

Absolutely fantastic. Wait staff was very attentive and worked together to make sure we had what we needed. I got the tostadas (shredded chicken) and it was amazing! HIGHLY recommend! Fairly priced.

A local Facebook group mentioned this place, so we thought we'd give this new restaurant a try. The restaurant is located in an old building. The exterior looks rather rough, but they've fixed up the interior fairly well, and it was clean. It's a small restaurant, with a dining area not much larger than roughly 20'x30' (give or take a few). The ubiquitous music was playing; a TV or two on the walls, unsurprisingly tuned into a soccer game. Our young waitress was very pleasant and always had a smile on her face. Upon being seated, we received the usual chips and salsa. The salsa was very smoothly blended, and the chips were thin, warm, and crisp. I ordered an enchilada dish, while my wife and son both ordered chicken fajitas. The end result was three thumbs up, and we were all in agreement

I really wanted to like this place. The lady that took our order got it wrong which wasn't a huge deal but the food was lacking in flavor. We were served stale chips and cold queso dip 😬 That being said, the waitress was kind and so were the other people there and the atmosphere was good. Maybe we just went on an off day so gonna give it another try soon.
