Taqueria La Monja Blanca #3

Simple restaurant, dated somewhat, has obviously been recycled from previous establishment (s). Clean place inside. Food was really good. Definitely didn't have the spiciness or heat as I would like . Portion sizes are solid, highly recommend

Food was very good large portion and waitress was very pleasant. I'll be back to try other items on the menu update I came back a second time and large amounts of rancid fat in the pork I threw it in the garbage disgusting the photo only shows a little of that fat I found

This is a mom and pop Mexican restaurant. The food was amazing and delicious. The portions were huge. I have leftovers for dinner. The lady behind the counter was nice and sweet and very helpful anytime I’m in Iowa and on Highway 29. I’ll be stopping by here. Highly recommending This little place.

It was 54 degrees inside this restaurant today. Seen a cockroach on the counter where you purchase. Food was bland with no flavor. Beans were more of a brown soup. Food was cold in the middle like it was just thrown in the oven. And 5$ for a glass bottle of coke is straight highway robbery. Please change your ways so onawa can have a decent spot to eat on Mondays. Ordered a wet burrito a while ago and it didn't come wet (sauce) i was going to let that go. But it's always very cold environment and cold food.

I cannot for the life of m.e. figure out why patrons go across the street for Tex-Mex when they can have authentic cuisine here. Simple amenities, but the good here is outstanding!
