Taqueria El Tikal

I stopped by the Taqueria El Tikal taco truck in Greenbrier and was really impressed. I tried the street steak tacos and the steak fajitas, and both were packed with flavor. The fajitas came with rice, beans, and all the fixins tortillas, grilled peppers, onions, and fresh toppings on the side. Everything was hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned, especially the steak which was tender and juicy. The food came out quick, and the customer service was 10/10 friendly and welcoming. Overall, this taco truck is a hidden gem, and I’ll definitely be back again soon.

I really wanted to like this place. Things were looking good. The guy spoke enough English to be worth buying the food. The options were alright. Asada flavor was alright, not the worst, not the best. Cooked right. Only bad inedible piece of meat in 2 tacos. They load up the tacos with asada. Could use more onion, but not a big deal. This is one of the places that doubles up the corn tortillas. They also fry them a little. Perfect combination. Usually you get one or the other. Burrito was a little less on the Mexican side and closer to "Arkansas Mexican". Fajita veggies and meat. Cheese sauce inside. A side of cheese sauce as well. A little odd. Chicken was cooked just right, and again not the best not the worst in terms of flavor. Neither of the meats had the "kick" you expect from Mex

Very good Tacos and Burritos. Fresh food cooked daly, at the best clean, and good service. Competitive prices, also. I do recommend this Street Tacos Truck.
