My taco bowl ($16) was literally refried beans with a few strips of onion and green pepper, three slices of zucchini, covered in shredded lettuce and cheese, and topped with exactly one tomato slice. My oldest kiddo's fajita ($21) was okay, but the chicken and rice were both dry, and none of it was particularly flavorful. The lettuce and cheese looked fresh from a Sysco bag. The other kiddo's burrito ($18) was also mid. And if you want tortilla chips, they're an extra $5. And if you want salsa for the $5 tortilla chips, that's an additional $5.50 (or $7.50 for white salsa or queso). For someplace that's set up like a grab-and-go counter (I literally don't understand people 5-starring the atmosphere), I think it's going to struggle in this part of the county. $70 for okay-ish food and a
The tacos were decent, but the menudo was terrible. I’ve had plenty of menudo back in Texas that was rich and flavorful, but this one completely missed the mark. It didn’t even have hominy, and they added bones with barely any meat. Most of it was just fatty Jell-O-like chunks instead of real meat.
Heard about this place from a coworker and decided to try it out. It is a small place but the food comes out quick so people generally wouldn’t stay long. Seems they do a good bit of take out as well. The workers were very friendly and explained anything you don’t know. It is a bit pricey but they did put a good portion of meat in the street tacos. The tacos tasted really good. As did the rice and beans. The quesabirria was pretty amazing and quite filling. The birria sauce was great with it. I would come back when in the area as I’d like to try more menu items.
Just opened and seems they’ve got it down already! Only tried the tacos but they were traditional style and bursting with flavor. Service was very fast for carry-out, considering how busy they were. Very courteous people behind the counter. Can’t wait to go back
I'm grateful to have a taco shop in the area but they really need to spice up the red and green salsa and give it some life. It's like water with no heat or flavor. If the carne asada gets a little seasoning, it has a lot of potential. The al pastor was pretty good, better than the asada. Hopefully the next time I return they have a habanero option or something for salsa.
