Taqueria Antojitos Guanajuato

Wow! 10/10 this food is TOTALLY equal to what I have over my 10 years of travel in Mexico. 100% authentic. This is the BEST taqueria food I've had since I've been on the East Coast. This place could easily fit into San Diego, TJ, or San Felepe! My stomach is full and happy, and food is delicious. If you dont eat here, you are missing out. Great music, great aura, great vibe, strong drinks!

So.... Let me tell you about a little place that I discovered yesterday. Right smack in the middle of one of the most confusing highway transitions in the city of Conway lies a gem of food services, the name of which I am still trying to pronounce. I'm sorry my Spanish is still a working progress. But as difficult as the name is to say the food, there is absolutely fabulous. The atmosphere of the place is quaint. It is not a large restaurant, but the spacing of the tables makes it easy to navigate and not feel crowded like you're sitting on top of everyone. I ordered a fajita and my fiance ordered the taco salad. Both were excellent. The meat and my fajita was extremely fresh and the vegetables as well. The taste of the food was way above any other Mexican restaurant that I have been to.

After a Pickleball tournament Saturday we made our way from Collins Park to TAG for lunch. What a hidden jewel for those seeking authentic Mexican flavors, friendly service and a great vibe. This place was packed with a festive atmosphere that lacks in so many other eating establishments in the Grand strand areas. No short cuts are taken with spicing and the 4 home made salsas to add more pop to your meal. The young waiter was genuinely happy and very attentive, and this is a Taqueria. I've been consuming Mexican food for 60+ yrs, and this little place stands tall amongst a lot of posers closer to the Beaches along the GS. This place is almost always packed, so we finally got a chance to check it out. They have some of the most authentic Mexican food in the area and my Texas fiancé was in heaven! He said it rivaled places from back home. Its now our go-to Mexican place in Conway and Myrtle Beach. We got the Quesobirria, tacos dorados, sopas, empanada, choriqueso, and pupusas. If you can't manage to grab a seat, there's always takeout. The staff is super friendly and bilingual, and makes sure you are happy. Five star recommendation.
