Horry County Memorial Library - Conway

Love the children's play stations that allow for interactive play within the library. Lots of great books, wide variety to choose from. There are story time sessions with activities and crafts that make for a good activity to get the kids out of the house and involved.

A public library is a special place, and this one is no exception. The branch I visit is in a lovely, well-maintained building in a beautiful setting in downtown Conway. There's a good selection of books and an easy-to-use and efficient interlibrary loan service if I don't find what I need in any of the branches. The librarians I have encountered are very knowledgeable and eager to help. This library is a joy to visit.

I love this library and use it almost everyday they are open. The first floor is for children and the 2nd floor is for teens and adults. They have and nice working elevator if you aren’t able to walk up stairs, clean restrooms on both floors, plenty of books and they even offer to order a book for you if they don’t already have it in stock, audio books, meeting rooms, plenty of seating and tables, a lot of computers on each floor. It’s a great place overall, I love spending time there doing homework, reading or even the new puzzles they put out daily that everybody can stop by and connect a few pieces until it’s finished(I think that my favorite part lol) .

All I can say is wow, great library and a wonderful staff. Staff that is always polite and very helpful in directing your hunt for a good book to read. If they do not have the title you want available in the Horry County system, they have a great Interlibrary Loan Department to search out that hard to find title. They offer more services than just reading, check out all they have to offer. I would strongly recommend this library to anyone. Thank you.

Very clean, organized, staff are extremely nice and knowledgeable. You don't have to ask to get on a computer. Just got up the the second floor and the guest ID and pass to log on will be in front of the computer, so you can just log in. If you're having issues with computer staff actually take the time to help you navigate through it.
