Tanino Ristorante Italiano

I travel to the area on business and have eaten here a number of times. The service is generally good. It is reasonably good Italian but some dishes are definitely better than others. I am not a fan of the vodka sauce and my wife was really disappointed with it. It is very spicy which seems unusual. Veal marsala was very good. Not a huge portion but adequate. Lasagna was so so. Skip the tiramisu. It's not great. It is a good enough restaurant that I will go again as it is not a bad place to bring clients as long as your expectations are not unrealistic for the area.

It didn't seem very busy when I was there, but it took an extra long time for anyone to come over to my table. Staff seemed stressed more than friendly. Food was delicious. I would go back when the weather is better and perhaps sit outside on the patio. Bartender (I think she was the owner) was very pleasant and I heard her talking to every single person there, as if they were a friend. That, I loved.

Love the calamari and lovely Bellini, good wine and drink list, lots of classic Italian dishes. Nice ambience. Check for reservations on weekends just in case, we didn't have reservations and they were able to seat us on a Saturday evening, but I will call ahead in the future on busy nights.

Pretty good spot for red sauce Italian. This place has wine lockers, which is nice for the regulars. Food is hit or miss. The French onion soup was great, as was the chicken parm. The shrimp scampi and calamari were average at best, however. It's worth a shot if you're in the area. May need a do over.

The dishes could not have tasted better! We did make a reservation or we would probably not have gotten in. The atmosphere was cozy in front of the fireplace! Service was good and staff is very nice and we liked her! Just recommend a little more attention to details such as water refills and food ordered comes out We will absolutely go back!
