Tangled Roots Craft Beer & Kitchen - Washington

Do not come here expecting anything to be quick. 5 of us came in at 630. We were told it would be a 50 minute wait, and decided to wait and get seated. There was one other group waiting, and what was supposedly 50 min was less than 10 min. I thought this was great! We sat down at 645, and we were waiting another 10 minutes before the drinks were ordered. I normally don't mind if things are jamming and there's a wait, so I didn't think anything of it. The waitress came by with the water after another 10, and I asked if she could take our order at that point. About 15 minutes after that, three of the four beers were delivered by people other than the waitress and I was waiting on my rise and shine to come out. Tangled Roots was a great experience overall. The gluten-free options are honestly really good, which is hard to find sometimes, and they clearly put effort into making sure gluten-free doesn’t feel like an afterthought. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was super chill and enjoyable. It is on the pricey side, but the quality of the food and the experience make it worth it. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

First time going to tangled roots today with a big group of 10 and the customer service was incredible! Our waitstaff was running all over for our table and the other busy tables around us. They accommodated us quickly and with our reservation we were quickly seated. My only complaint is the food. Half of the 10 orders were cold/lukewarm at best, like maybe they were sitting back there while the other half still needed time to cook and that’s fine, logistics I’m sure they are trying to work out. Will update when we try it again! Update: when back again today around 2:00 p.m. with my husband and the food was AMAZING! Very disappointed in the visit. We had a reservation. They were actively seating walk ins in front of us. Once we were seated after 20 minutes and no one coming to our, we asked who our servers was. We ordered drinks and had to ask multiple times to get all of our drinks. 2 hours in we finally got our food. They brought appetizers and Main choices at the same time. All the food arrived at room temperature. Nothing was hot! For food and drinks (2 people) it was $70. Very disappointed. I don't see a need to go back anytime soon.

We’ve been to Tangled Roots three times for dinner and everything has been EXCELLENT! We’ve not had any problems always great service, drinks and food! They also have a nice selection on their menu…We’ve had something different each time and the food has always been hot and delicious! Elisha was our server this evening and she’s so friendly and helpful! We have lived in Washington for over 25 years and we are originally from the Peoria area. We are also a retired military family and we’ve never had any regrets moving back to Washington. Even with going through the 2013 tornado and rebuilding. We love Washington and hope Tangled Roots is here to stay. We plan to return and hope others can come and enjoy their food. Keep up the hard work! 😊❤️
