Genealogy li rary had lot of info. The staff lerson was new so did not have knowledge of all the materials and did not have access to materials we needed. He did try to assist us.

Tuesday, needed something printed off IPhone and needed help sending to their printer….staffer was so patient and helpful !! And then today needed to send a fax and again, staffer (different one from the other day) was so courteous, helpful and friendly! Just love this branch!! (Skipped my local one to come here).

Terrific experience! They offer SO many fantastic programs for all ages. There’s something for everyone. Staff could not be nicer, more informed or more helpful. They run the Amite Library like “a well-oiled machine” - efficient, organized, educational, informative - and always with a smile and kind words. Great place to spend time. Everyone should stop in and enjoy the fantastic experience of the Amite Library!

Love it. There is an array of topics to browse from, and if for some reason you aren't able to find what you are looking for, you can utilize the cardex computer in order to locate the resource you desire and then someone on the staff will assist you in order to secure what you need. Usually a few business days but not a big deal. There is more than enough sufficent space to study, read, bring your child to enjoy the children's area. Its fun as well as educational for children of all ages. It is wheelchair accessible. And tge restrooms are remarkably clean.
