Tangier restaurant

My friend and I decided to eat here for lunch as it was convenient and a nice day outside. It had been awhile since I've been back here. The interior is spacious. We started off work some Moroccan tea while we waited for our food. The tea was good (slightly sweet for me), but had a good aroma to it. I ordered the meat combo plate which included - lamb, chicken, and kaftan. The meat were properly seasoned and flavorful. We also preferred a pita bread and asked for some of their spicy sauce. The spicy sauce definitely had a kick and if you like spice, I would suggest getting it. Overall, we had a decent lunch.

I absolutely love this place. I dine here frequently, and have had many of the items on the menu. My favorites include the Moroccan Chicken, zaalouk, and fish tagine. Everything is fresh and homemade, including the mango juice (don’t skip that!). A gem in the downtown food scene. And if you happen to be in when the green cookies are available, DO NOT skip those. Best cookies I’ve ever had! صَحَّة!!

Spent Christmas in Portland with my adult kids and we discovered this place on accident while on a walk on Christmas day. We noticed on their sign they have gluten free options for one of my daughters so we decided to check it out for dinner. The whole experience was perfect. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere was cozy, and the food was amazing. We were a party of 7 and we each got something different and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The pita was so good, the hummus was perfect, my beef kebab plate was just so good. I really can't not say enough about this place. (We loved your mom's cookies by the way!) We will definitely be going back whenever we are in the area.

The food was absolutely delicious and all of it was fresh and homemade. The mango juice was super fresh and delicious, the pita bread was freshly made, and the spices on the food were incredible. The woman running it was so amazing and friendly. I will absolutely be coming back and recommend anyone to try.
