I love that they serve Reve coffee, locally roasted in Lafayette. I liked my oat cortado. Cozy vibes inside, seems like a great spot to get work done or to hang out.

Pros: fun atmosphere, interesting menu Cons: very slow service, drinks are served lukewarm, drinks and food taste meh I've had bad coffee—that was not bad... but it was close. It took them 20min to get me a lukewarm coffee, even though there were at least 2 people working and only 1 customer before me; it was midmorning on a weekday. I know good coffee takes time, but the coffee wasn't even good! I ordered 2 different drinks, and they were both soooo bland! The pastries were dry and lacking in flavor. It's a cool place to hang out or work on the computer, but the drinks and food aren't worth it. You can get MUCH better coffee--faster AND tastier--at the little cafe in the Books-A-Million in town! 🙄

A cozy coffee shop find in Alexandria with a relaxed, eclectic vibe and a lot of character. We stopped in and ordered a matcha latte, which was impressively well-balanced—not overly sweet like you’d find at bigger chains. The desserts were just okay, nothing remarkable, but the space itself left a good impression. The shop has a warm interior, with multiple seating zones and plenty of board games, making it feel like a laid-back community spot. We may have arrived at an odd hour—possibly close to closing—so the energy was a bit low, and we didn’t quite feel fully welcomed. Still, overall it was a pleasant visit. Worth checking out if you’re passing through Alexandria.

I swung by this little gem on my way from NOLA to Shreveport for a late breakfast, and wow—talk about a happy accident! I’m notoriously indecisive when faced with a new menu (the struggle is real), but the lovely lady behind the counter didn’t flinch when I asked what she suggested — even as a line started forming behind me. Instead of rushing me along, she took her time, asked what I was in the mood for, and made a recommendation she thought would hit the spot. And did it ever! She suggested the avocado toast—now, I’m not usually an avocado toast kind of person, but hey, I asked for her advice, so I rolled with it. Let me tell you: it was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Like, I’m talking next-level good. You can tell they use super fresh avocados (on top of their scrumptious homemade bread), and then

Out of all the coffee options in the cenla area, this is the only one with the true "coffee shop" atmosphere you look for in a cafe. Several have popped up or have been remodeled/rebranded to have a "cozier" vibe, but lack the ACTUAL cozy and homey feel that comes from a place that is all about coffee and community. its not just a place that has trendy furniture, it has an eclectic and lived-in feel that I think is partially from the character that the baristas bring to the place (as opposed to some other places in town where the employees just.. work there... if that makes sense). They are also the only coffee shop I've seen have SUCH creative seasonal drinks made with herbal & in-house made syrups. Plus they sell fresh whole beans from local (louisiana) roasters, if you're into that. I d
