The menudo really is great — I’ll give them that. But unfortunately, that’s where the positives end for me. I’ve bought tamales here three different times, and twice when I ordered half a dozen rajas con queso, I was given chicken instead. I live in Thornton, so driving all the way back to fix their mistake wasn’t realistic. I ended up stuck with tamales I didn’t even want. Customer service is another big issue. The cashiers are cold and unfriendly, and there’s just no warmth or attentiveness. I’ve tried calling ahead multiple times to avoid the long wait, but they never answer the phone. One time, I kept calling while driving there, only to find out their ringer was turned off — and there were only two customers inside. Pretty sure my husband's card was skimmed here. Made a purchase this am then like 3 hours later someone tried to make a purchase a couple miles down Quebec thank god he had alerts for fraud set up so we were able to cancel card fast. Great food but I will never use a card here again. (Only purchase of the day soooooooo)

I mean they are really good tamales... if you like just masa, theres like hardly little to no meat in these which is sad cause the taste is quite nice. After reading other reviews ive decided to lower my score cause others are commenting the same thing "just masa"

Absolutely wonderful service. Very nice. The food is really good too! So far we've had the tacos, the al pastor, tamales and chili cheese fries. Everything's been fresh and very tasty!

Tamales by Sara sells the best tamales (especially the red pork and spicy cheese and jalapeño) and most delicious and clean Menudo in the metro area, seeing a busy and welcoming family ran business is a clear indication of delicious and authentic Mexican food, my family and I loved it and highly recommend it if you want to enjoy "REAL" Mexican cuisine!
