Takka Saunas - Takka Portage

Absolutely loved my experience at Takka this week! They have a friendly staff and beautiful saunas, with a peaceful view. I frequent saunas in Mn and this was more affordable, with cool amenities (pitchers of water and salts provided!). It’s nice that they have wood fired and electric options, depending on your preference. Highly recommend.

My husband and I enjoyed our sauna and cold plunge at Takka Portage! It was so relaxing and peaceful sitting in a sauna with big windows right on the lake with a beautiful view. The person working there was so friendly and helpful, she made sure we had a great experience from start to finish. The whole facility was cute and was clean. The electrolyte drinks were refreshing. I highly recommend a stop here if you’re in the area!

Amazing experience! I brought some family with me who’s never done it before. They were a bit worried at first with how hot it was but once they got used to it, they enjoyed it very much and told me they would definitely want to go again! The cold plunge and snow angel zone was also very very cool. Amazing staff and a very well-maintained place!

We had a great time! Mason, our host, was very friendly and made sure we had the best experience at Takka. We highly recommend visiting this special place.

What an amazing place to unwind and nourish while on a long road trip. Takka is now one of my favorite saunas I’ve ever been to. It’s right on the river for great views and the sauna, cold plunge and showers are top notch. Great staff too!
