Taj Mahal Indian Restaurant

It was our first time here and we took our granddaughters to celebrate their birthdays. The food was delicious and the service was great. I had the Lamb Palak, someone else had the Lamb Kabobs and one had the Chicken Tika Masala. We all loved what we got and recommend. Also, the garlic naan was delicious!

Very tasty and pretty local Indian restaurant in Springfield. Each table has nice simple glassware with vases, burgundy cloth napkins and silverware. It's a simple setup yet it somehow makes the restaurant feel very elegant. There is good variety in the menu. I went for the classic Butter chicken with Naan. And it was amazing. Some of the best butter chicken I've tried! I got the mild spice because I'm unfortunately bad with spice and it thankfully was not unbearably spicy and it actually added quite a bit of flavor. One of the workers proudly shared that her husband was the cook of the butter chicken. Makes me think that perhaps the restaurant may be family owned. But I'm unsure. Regardless, I will definitely be coming back to try other menu items.

Tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday and it was great! Was disappointed they didn't have a buffet and we didn't understand that the daily special actually included 3 different mains so we ordered off the menu. It was delicious! Shrimp curry and chicken palak (chicken in creamed spinach) along with naan. Everything was delicious and their chai tea was great. Will order the daily special on our next trip.

This place has DoorDash orders nailed down! If you are looking to order delivery, this place has the orders ready for drivers to pick up, so they can get the food to you quickly! I was greeted with a smile and a "Hello", when some restaurants treat me negatively when they find out I'm a DoorDash driver (I complete about 500 deliveries per month). I am happy to work with this restaurant anytime, and you can feel confident ordering DoorDash delivery with them! Thank you, Taj Majal, for treating your delivery drivers with courtesy and respect. It is noticed. ❤️
