Tahntawan Thai Kitchen

It was my first time trying Tahntawan and it did NOT disappoint! I ordered the yellow curry with chicken delivered to my house (it arrived so fast!) and it might be the best yellow curry I’ve ever had. There was an explosion of flavors as I enjoyed it with some rice and toast on the side. The vegetables, potatoes, and onions were fantastic, and the spice has just the right amount of kick. You can tell it was made from an authentic Thai chef because usually I only experience this quality in Thailand! I’m so happy I can enjoy these flavors at home now :) I would highly recommend and I am excited to try their other dishes and dine in next time!

We stumbled upon Tahntawan Thai Kitchen while staying at the Marriott just across the street, and we’re so glad we did. This cozy spot is tucked among a bunch of great little restaurants, but something about it drew us in—and it didn’t disappoint. We tried the green curry and the yellow curry with seafood, and both were incredibly flavorful. The spices were just right, and the seafood was fresh and tender. You can tell they care about the quality of their dishes. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome right away. There’s plenty of seating inside, plus outdoor seating if you want to enjoy the area. There’s even a small parking area just for customers, which is always a nice bonus in a busy area. Overall, the food, service, and laid-back atmosphere made this a great find.

Really good Thai food. My wife and I always compare to our local thai restaurant and this place is amazing. Ordered papaya salad, green curry, wings, and pad se ew beef. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Another hidden gem. The food was tasty, portions large, prices reasonable. We got papaya salad which had a unique smell but tasted good. Spicy beef salad had extra tender meat and was flavorful. Green curry was rich in coconut which was an acquired taste but we liked it. And the pad thai was normal and delicious.

We had Tom Yum, Pad Tai, and Shrimp Tempura. Everything was very delicious. Sauces were great too. Also, we left very pleased with the service. The guys who worked there was very kind and helpful. We live in Venice and it’s a short walk from our house - convenient location. The prices are reasonable.
