Tacos Mi Poblanita II

recently collaborated with Tacos Mi Pueblanita 2 to host an open mic for up-and-coming artists, and the experience was incredible. * The Vibes: Absolutely through the roof. It’s a "super dope" environment that feels like a true community hub. * The Owners/Staff: Huge shoutout to the team here. They were incredibly supportive and gave me the space to really do my thing. You don’t always find owners this willing to back local creators, so the hospitality is 10/10. * The Food: The food is okay—I’ve had better—but the energy and heart of this place more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a spot that supports the local scene and has an amazing atmosphere, this is it. Thanks again to the Pueblanita 2 crew for the support!

Right across the Freeport train station in what looked to be once in Irish bar converted into an authentic Mexican restaurant. The food and vibe is straight out of central Mexico City. Nothing fancy, but tasty and ethnic. Helps to speak a little Spanish when ordering.

Stumbled upon this restaurant after getting off of the LIRR starving and with a dead phone from my college upstate. This was two years ago and I have been here regularly since! Their tacos are insanely good and the women working there are always so kind and helpful. Always leave here happy!

The Special Menu 3 tacos and a Margarita for $12.00 appear to be a good deal. The Margarita had way too much ice (eventhough I am aware that often times drinks are watered down), however, this was excessive. The chicken tacos DOES NOT appear to be chicken nor did it taste like chicken !

Do not come here unless you like non authentic Mexican food. I saw the name and thought they would serve delicious authentic Mexican food but no. Foods I ordered were all bland and made up. The torta doesn’t look like how it was supposed to look and taste. The enchiladas doesn’t look how real enchiladas are supposed to look and even taste. I regret coming here. Drinks were all horrible, they don’t follow certain recipes and just do whatever or however they want to them. Very disappointed.
