Freeport Memorial Library

Our Freeport Memorial Library has so many program selections for all ages and groups. The library has so many aspects to supply the assistance anyone might need or request. I've been a patron for over 30 years and take advantage of their Art Programs, Health, Fun Events and Open Discussions, Book Clubs and a Training Room downstairs and many Computers when needed with privacy. Their displays change rapidly too. It's my "home away from home" and enjoy meeting new patrons and guests too.

I live here I dont go to too aften but i went yesterday to make some copies, the personal and custodians are so nice, the girl downstairs were the computers are she is nice and pretty

Best electrical outlet score! Looks like: if there are kids that would come to play games on 💻💻 and curse 😭😞 these would go to a separate room. Beets the Brooklyn libraries I've seen so far.

The lady who leads circle time on 2-15 she was nice and gracious enough to do a story time with my children and another patron although circle time was not happening again until March. On the other hand a coworker mocked her and said oh we doing private story time now, she was very rude and condensing. I wish I had names to highlight the good and bad staff. I observed 5 staff in children's area that were sitting at their stations who just looked at us not offering assistance.

Great staff! Seen the interaction on a video and would visit if ever in the area! The older, shorter lady who closes is awesome! Unsure of her name. Also, the husky guy with glasses that tends to close with the forementioned lady.
