Tacos Ibarra

Colombian immigrant living in Kansas city- Here for project and looked at all the "mexican" places in emporia. Safe to say this is the real deal! 5 tacos + aguafresca for 16.xx with tax. Great value! I had the pastor and my helper had the carnitas. We both enjoyed out meals!

This is nice quaint little place for authentic Mexican food. I love the salsa bar too. The tacos were very tasty, I had Carnitas and El Pastor for my meat choice. Hint, they're going to be opening a second location by the Civic Arena soon. I highly recommend that you try this place if you're in the Emporia area. Oh, my mango 🥭 fruit drink was very good as well.

Everything about this little shop is charming. It's the place to go. I tried the taco plate (4 street tacos): both meats were delicious. There are amazing toppings that you can self serve after you pick your meat. Everything on the menu was mouth watering; another customer ordered the Ramen and it looked (and was praised as) completely satisfying- yum! I have a weakness for street tacos so I'll be back. Only downside is that the dining area is small. Not really a downside unless you have a large party. It was quaint and quiet enough in there for me to read as I ate. I can't praise the atmosphere or loving service enough. But you have to have good food: they do.

I went today for the first time and my only regret is not going sooner! I got an agua fresca, they were nice and let me mix strawberry with mango. It was amazing! I also got the elote and asada tacos. The service was great, food great and I will be back :)

Very small. The bowl with mix of chicken and beef was delicious. Fresh salsa and fruta with cream was amazing.
