Tacos El Macho

Ordered birria tacos 9 to be exact and spent a decent amount on these tacos and they did not come with soup to dip and were extremely dry. Would not recommend. I’ve never had birria tacos without a dipping sauce. Called and text the number to try to figure out if this was normal with no reply before posting a review

Got to try them today and it was absolutely delicious. The birria pizza was great. Well worth the money. Especially with how big it is and what it comes with.

One day after the workday had ended, the Fat Man had skipped lunch and was looking for a quick place to grab some food. Tacos El Macho is a food truck set up at the BP at the corner of Four Mile and the Eastern Bypass in Richmond, KY. I had a craving for Birria Pizza. This came with Birria and cheese sandwiches between large tortillas. Consume. The tortillas were crispy and chewy and dipped into the consume before going to the flat top. They had been cooked to a golden brown, melting the cheese nicely. The birria was juicy and tender. However, it had little flavor and needed seasoning. The orange hot sauce had great flavor and some good heat, possibly habanero, that continued to build after the bite. The Verde sauce was cooling and had a nice sour punch with a bright, fresh flavor. Stopped by this evening for a chicken burrito, and oh my my, how delicious it was. It is such a wonderful family owned and operated food truck. Couldn't ask for friendlier and welcoming people.
