Great prices, good portions and GREAT food! Poopin for a quick lunch or dinner. Atmosphere is bright and colorful Mexican flag colors. Only warning is that they are cash only.
This may be the best taco salad I have ever eaten. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. We ordered at the counter and they brought our food to the table for us. It was fresh and hot. The restaurant is small with few tables, but there was seating at the counter. I thought the price was fair for the quality we received. We stayed at Stoney Creek Hotel and had about a seven minute walk to get there. I did notice parking meters along the street if you want to drive it. It was contactless pay. I will definitely return when I come back through Sioux City.
This has become my new favorite place to get Mexican food. I would do 5 stars for all, but the last 2 times I went, the queso dip is watery and has no flavor. The first time I ate there, it was amazing, so I know it's not always watery. I'm just disappointed spending money on watered-down dip. The salsa is super good, the hot sauces green and red are good. My go-to is the Asada burrito or the birria burrito. I also did not like the horchata. It seemed like the horchata mix that comes in a bag, I've had really good horchata at other Mexican restaurants, and this one wasn't really good. The queso and horchata isn't going to stop me from going there because everything else I've had so far has been super amazing, like I said, it's becoming one of my favorite places to eat.
Lady on the phone was friendly.. But entering the building was not greeted, and the atmosphere was not welcoming.. nacho fries with asada $9.50 a bit bland for me and not filling, portion is a bit small for the price. The xxl red birria burrito 🌯 just by itself $14.50, was ok not wow factor.. so the reviews are pretty spot on. But i will advise to pay with cash. You will be charged to pay with a card and the atm has a fee..the service was fast, order was ready for pick up on arriving.. but dont expect a thank you
Friendly staff ran by family! Food was really solid, very fresh which is always great. I'd probably take food to go next time instead of dining in, not that comfortable of seating.
