Tacos by the Shore

I Absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE authentic tacos for one and their customer service goes above and beyond! I used to come here all the time and the owner (I believe) always remembered my order, even after 2 years of traveling when I came back she still remembered!!! She is still the absolute sweetest person! I will always ALWAYS come here 🌮🌊 will never go anywhere else!

Im from Virginia, and I was working up here for two weeks, and this was by far the best place I at. That burrito was perfect. It was massive and tasted very fresh. 10/10 recommend this place (was a little bit pricey getting chicken and beef in it, but they made it worth it).

To begin with, the cost is over $15 per person, which is quite expensive given the quality of the food. When we called at 7:00 PM, we were told our order would be ready in 10 minutes. However, after waiting 40 minutes, the order had not even been started. We were then informed that they had run out of rice, which is surprising considering a large portion of their menu depends on it. To compensate for the missing rice we requested a side of guacamole, but that was never provided. On top of these issues, the staff member behind the counter was rude and impatient through the interaction.

This place is fantastic! First off, the lady who took my order was wonderful. She was very professional and seemed like she had a good attitude. She explained the difference between regular tacos and street tacos, and what all comes on them, amazingly. Very pleasant getting my order taken from her. I got 4 barbacoa street tacos, a side of rice and beans and a drink. The food turned out to be excellent. Very tender meat. Very tasty. There was salsa on the side, which was decent, and 2 big pieces of lime enough for a little juice on each taco. Perfect. And the rice and beans were some of the best I’ve had, I loved the corn in the rice. My dad is from Mexico, so I’ve had my share of rice and beans. Great place and the portions of food for the price you pay are incomparable to places around them. Never fails to leave me satisfied, and the customer service is great. It is definitely a place to stop by and try!
