Tacos a la Madre - College Park

May be the best birria I’ve had in Maryland, it is so flavorful and rich it’s hard to eat too much of it. The tacos are also really yummy specially the shrimp tacos that are well marinated and packed with flavor. Pretty much everything on the menu is delicious and worth trying.

Crab tacos are amazing and worth the price and possibly the wait. Mexican flavors work so well with the crab. Other tacos are good all be I’ve had better in Mexican neighborhoods.

Reccommended by a co-worker. WOW. So good. My wife and I each ordered 3 (next time I might get 4(5?). I am boring (according to my wife) and just had the carne asada (steak). My wife had the beef tongue, chorizo and cactus. They were all AMAZING. One bite of one taco, we were already talking about coming back. I will likely have the carne asada again (boring). My wife's quote, "I would order this again, but I won't. I want to try everything. So next time two new things and the beef tongue."

If could keave zero stars i would. Ordered 10 tacos and was sent 3 sauces. 1 red 2 green. Ordered extra beef tinga taco and was sent chicken without any topping. The food looks dry and old. Yall have gone down hill hard. But the prices are going up for this? This used to be my favorite spot but not anymore. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

Great spot for Vegan and Veggie tacos! Loved the grilled and fried zucchini options, and the mushroom taco was solid too. Not a fan of the cactus taco, though. Service was friendly—they gave us the wrong taco but quickly fixed it. Definitely worth a visit!”
