Taco Village

If you're not from Alva, this might not be the place for you. It is not quite like any other Tex Mex place I've been to. It's kind of its own thing. Having grown up near Alva, though, this is one of my favorite places in the world. I'm so grateful that they are still open. Every time I'm in town, I have to eat here at least one. Thank you for staying open and for always making the best chalupas ever!!!

This place has been there for over 50 years the first Hispanic restaurant in the area. It's very mild I would call it light Tex-Mex it's been the same taste and meal for years so you know what you're getting

You either love it or hate it! And it’s always the first place I head when I visit home. So, that pretty much sums up which side of the fence I’m on. 💝 For at least 45 years, the food, the place, and the people haven’t changed much, and I hope they never do.

They have great food at fair prices, but what kind of resteraunt takes their phones off the hook or just doesnt answer...Does anyone else experience this with them?

Not worth it. Cost way to much for what it was. The "nacho cheese" was radioactive looking and it was more like moive theater cheese. The taco salad I got was ALL Lettuce. You have to pay extra for sour cream. It's a Mexican place it should come with it?? AND don't get me started on the salsa! It was like marinara sauce. Please don't go!
