Taco Mar Malvern - Frazer

I can’t believe I’m just now finding this place but I’m so glad it came up as a recommendation in Maps. As someone who has tried just about every Mexican restaurant in the area, I confidently say I’ve found my new favorite. I ordered the shrimp quesadilla and shrimp tacos, both were unbelievably good. The menu is vegetarian, vegan and pescatarian friendly, specifically offering a beyond meat option. I can’t wait to return to try other options on the menu.

What a nice cozy spot. This is how every boutique restaurant experience should be like. It was taken a page from 50’s style retro diner and add a Mexican modern spin to it. The food was amazing. It’s simple and quick. Highly recommend to check it out.

Had decent hopes that this restaurant was going to feel inspiring. From the outside it does the job. Walking in I was greeted by a friendly man. Service from the host was friendly but inexperienced. Unfortunately he knew very little about Mexican cuisine... Another associate reluctantly came to help once they noticed the man was having trouble. As for the second associate, my best guess is they're just tired of owning a small business. Overall, this place offers some culture and inspiration with their food and venue. I've spoken enough on the service. Ultimately this place stands out in a grey, dampened Malvern/Frazer.

Totally authentic Mexican food. My wife and I stopped on our way into Philly and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The old diner car makes this little restaurant feel cozy but yet not crowded. The food was great, portion size was good, service very friendly. The absolute best part though was the Tres Leches Cake! You MUST try a piece! The best tres leches I have ever had.

Good place for tacos with many vegetarian options. Tried the tofu and grilled veggie tacos and black beans, lettuce and pico tacos, both of which were flavorful and filling. Indoor and outdoor seating seems to be limited. Service was quick and efficient (for takeout order).
