Taco Loco Products

Taco Loco is our local tortilla factory. Ms. Ida works the front counter and is incredibly friendly and helpful. We have thrown several tamale making parties and you can order ready made masa for that purpose. As well as chips and other product at very competitive prices. At one time it was a little grocery store but now only the products they make are available for purchase. Go a see for yourself!

I never had the pleasure of eating at the restaurant, but I buy their products regularly. I have found another way of using their flour tortillas. I used the smaller ones to make fried pies with. I warmed them up and I'm moisten. Ed the edges so I can seal the fruit Inn and cook them and a cast iron skillet. Until golden brown they become flicky when they are fried and they work as good as anything I could ever dream of making from scratch. Try it you will love it. Of course, I've called a many other things I could stuff. And then fry with these, use your imagination.Chicken pot pie

Taco Laco made the most incredible taco shells EVER. I've bought taco shells in Mexico, Southern California, Texas, and Arizona and nothing compares to the fresh corn flavor and perfect crispness of Taco Laco's very own Anchorage-made taco shells. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find them in Alaska stores lately. I called Taco Laco today and was sad to hear that they have just taken them off their production line. Nooo!!! I will continue to buy other Taco Laco products, but I really hope they reconsider not making the shells any more. Sigh me.. Worst Taco Tuesday ever..

Love the salsa and chips. Unfortunately the Taco Loco store is permanently closed, though the manufacturing remains open. So the good news is, you can still get their products, but not directly from the Taco Loco store. You have to go to Carrs/Safeway, or Fred Meyers to buy their products.

This place is filled with very hard working individuals that "get the job done". You would not believe just how popular this companies product line is in Alaska. You simply are not going to find fresher products for your Mexican MEAL Nights anywhere around.... and if ya do..... they probably made it for them. Lol!!! Can you believe that this little company based in Anchorage, Alaska provides service to the whole Alaska region. That is half the size of the U.S.. Salsa is made daily and sells.fast off of the shelves. !!!!! LOOK!!!!! I got a question for YOU.
