Found this gem and I’m impressed! The fish was super fresh and every dish was flavorful. Great value for the money. Our server, Mr. Ben, was very attentive and made our dining experience even better. Definitely coming back!

I’ve been coming to this place for the since 1995 and as we were visiting Washington DC, we went back to celebrate a birthday. Excellent and fresh selection of sushi with seasonal offerings. We love Uni so…. Highly recommended! Reservations recommended.

It had been a while since I came here after coming here a few times while growing up in McLean. Lots of famous people come by allegedly so I hoped the food would deliver. I went with a spicy scallop roll and the tonkotsku ramen. I’d recommend just sticking with sushi, which was awesome. Ramen was just average unfortunately. Service was also quite slow- we were waiting almost an hour for our food. It was very busy, to be fair.

Very impressive authentic Japanese restaurant. Food was amazing. My recommendation is Ankimo(monk fish liver), and sashimi with love sweet shrimp. You eat shrimp as raw sashimi and heads will be fried for you to eat. I loved fried shrimp head. I recommend if you love authentic japanese food experience in Virginia. Be aware that price is bit high

Very delicious and fresh sushi-grade fish! I highly recommend arriving at opening as parking is very limited and there may be a longer wait to get a table during busy hours. The staff is very accommodating and respectful and the portions, especially for lunch, are very filling. My favorites are the sushi assortments or bentos, which let you have small portions of many foods. Their tempura and other appetizers are also very delicious 😋 Whenever my lunch schedule allows, I will be back again at opening!
