Customer Reviews
Holy smokes. So delicious. The koubideh is tremendous. Ordered the kashkeh bademjan, an eggplant dip, on a whim, and it was fantastic. The Taboon bread is fantastic dipped in any of their various sauces. Great stuff.
Many times you can find good ethnic food in a small, out of the way place and this is a good example. Many dishes were the same as in most Middle Eastern restaurants while others were more specific. We both had grilled ground beef served with rice, pickles, onion, cucumber salad, grilled tomato, and bread. It was a large lunch portion, but we managed to nearly finish all that was on our plates. They also had dessert and breakfast items that looked good, but we were too full to try them. You place your order at the counter but it is brought to the table.
I went with my son on his recommendation. It was pretty busy with one person in front and two ladies in kitchen and trying their best to meet the take out / drive through and dine in orders . We order Adna kabob plate , very healthy and big portion and good as any Mediterranean food . Would definitely recommend for Halal options .
Finally a Persian restaurant in Hoover!… or so I thought. The menu is definitely a fusion of a few cultures, some Persian skewers with traditional rice and tomatoes, and then a few other dishes that seemed to have a Lebanese flair. Very modest restaurant that clearly caters to more takeout than dine in. Most Persian restaurants are fairly fancy so this came to a bit of surprise once we walked inside. The service was terrible. Not only rude, but we had such a difficult time communicating. English was not understood well and no one seemed to speak Farsi either. . The lady behind the counter was rude, abrupt and refused to listen and continuously talked over us when asking questions. She even rolled her eyes when we asked if they had certain items. Honestly, I’m surprised our order was right.
Had the Adana Kabab. It was excellent. Only issue was there was a small misunderstanding while ordering. It was easily fixed. I would definitely eat here again.
