Customer Reviews
First time eating at Taboo Burgers! Here’s my honest review. The King Louie was the best burger. The egg was cooked perfectly, the structure of the burger was great and it had the right amount of mayo. I think it was the best burger of our order. The Bleu Cheeseburger was good, but we felt like it was lacking some sauce. When we got home we added some garlic aioli and it was amazing. The Goober Burger was only okay. In my mind I was expecting gooey and full of peanut butter flavor, but I could hardly taste any peanut butter. I would love to see them come up with a peanut butter sauce that really makes the goober burger stand out. The kids burger was good, but the bun to burger ratio was off. Over all it was tasty. We will be returning to Taboo Burgers to try the rest of their menu, an
I ordered the tsunami burger and a Mtn Dew shake. Wife ordered a regular burger and a strawberry shake. Both of us took one bite and started dancing. The shakes were great and service was amazing! Must stop place if you’re in the area!
Discovered Taboo when they were in Laurie. One of the best flavored burgers I'd ever eaten. When I found that they moved to Eldon! They are a wonderfully friendly couple. Parking is challenging, but you can park on the road or over at the grocery store. Love that they have a good variety of ice cream as well. They even have a small salad bar.
They will not give you a cup of water with your purchase! You have to buy a bottle of water, only option. Seriously! You can buy a milkshake in a cup, no cups for water. Weird jungle motif that includes stuffed animals and and African tribal masks. Macaroni salad side is not home made, but their prices seem like it should be. Not worth a second trip.
Happy to be the first review here! This place is awesome, the owners are fantastic, and the ice cream is affordable and delicious! For now they just have ice cream and baked goods. I believe they will have sub type sandwiches and pastas soon, and then their speciality burgers will be coming after that as they get their full operation set up. This place was a staple of the lake in Laurie and we are lucky that they chose to move over to Eldon!
