T C Smith Historic Inn Bed & Breakfast

I totally forgot to write a review, as life gets in the way... But let me tell you what an AMAZING experience it was being at this inn. Stepping through the door was like stepping back in time. I loved all the paintings and furniture. The room was cozy, the jacuzzi was much needed after all the adventures me and my husband went on. The house was nice and quiet at night, and I got the best rest ever. Ms.Maureen's breakfasts were so good, very filling and we met a few other people staying at the inn at the breakfast table. Walking distance to amazing shops, restaurants and Lake Geneva. Like two to three blocks! We hardly used our car to go anywhere except to the observatory and to Grand Geneva for the scooter rides. DO NOT snooze on this place. A real treat and great place to feel at home,

We stayed here with our niece and her family, and our in-laws for two nights. We took three rooms and it was so lovely. Conveniently located close to Main Street, but in a very quite neighborhood. Maureen is the quintessential host! The breakfasts were superb - wonderful fresh fruit and terrific souffles the first morning and great french toast the second. We even got kringles from Racine. And when we left, she gave our 4 year old grand nephew a beautiful bowl he had used for the fruit to take home!||All in all, 5 stars across the board!

We had a welcoming and helpful hostess who welcomed us and our two toy golden doodles to our first visit to Lake Geneva . The bed and accommodations were comfortable and warm despite the early Winter snow and cold going on during our stay. We enjoyed our time staying at the inn which is just blocks away from a number of good restaurants and easy to get downtown from here.

Our son gifted us a stay at this lovely B&B that made for a great anniversary weekend in Lake Geneva. The home was decorated with period Victorian furnishings, while still offering plenty of modern conveniences and comforts. The breakfast souffles and pastries with fresh berries and fruit were perfect. The coffee was good too. The downtown area, shops, restaurants are all within convenient walking distance. The lady who owned this garden spot was Maureen, a lovely person and a great hostess.

I stayed three nights with my dog and found this to be a very interesting and quaint house built in 1865. It is located in a historic and quiet neighborhood, only a couple of blocks from the lake and downtown, and has nearby great restaurants. The owner is an experienced innkeeper and an expert at hospitality. The house was very clean and the breakfasts were excellent. I highly recommend this B&B.
