Simple Café

Great restaurant in Lake Geneva. The food is outstanding.and very healthy. Enough variety for different palates. The blueberry pancakes were perfectly made and they have real.syrup not that synthetic garbage most places serve. An excellent selection of teas served with a proper strainer. The staff are very friendly, personable and remember their interactions with customers from days prior. The interior decor is pleasing, calming and colorful. The outdoor patio is clean and accented with flowers creating the perfect outdoor eating experience. Don't sleep on this spot. There is parking but if you park on the street don't forget to pay the meter. The city is diligent about collecting the revenue.

This was a nice, healthy breakfast! We really loved the potato side, which was crispy and flavorful. I took a chance on the hummus toast which felt more unique for a breakfast item, but I absolutely loved it. Creative dishes and fresh ingredients! We had a bit of a wait (35 minutes) but it was worth it.

We had such a wonderful breakfast here! The staff was cheerful and helpful serving us with careful attention but not hovering. I am a bit of a coffee snob, and this coffee was fabulous! My husband and I decided to split the mushroom omelet and the apple crumble French toast; a little sweet and savory. Fabulous choice! The mushroom omelet had just enough flavor to not be overwhelming but still very interesting, a great balance between the mushrooms and the cheese! The French toast was as I expected, a drier French toast than some, sprinkled with sweetness and crumbles. Our son ordered the Korean BBQ breakfast bowl and our DIL ordered the turkey brussel sprouts hash with eggs over easy - the richness of the eggs was beautiful! Food was awesome! Highly recommend the breakfast burrito. Worth the wait! Waited about 30 minutes which was a bummer but the food was worth the wait. I’d recommend getting there earlier when they open if you have a larger party. Parking is street parking that is meter enforced. There is a bank parking lot which you could take your chances with…

I am gracious to be able to rate my experience. This cohesive entity and amazing staff have made breakfast my life. A friend and myself, would be called patrons having had a great experience and consistently great food at 100+visits. We are gracious and Applaud the level of professionalism coming from the Chef's and their staff, as they make this community feel like home. Thank you.
