If you are in Santa Cruz and care even a little about food quality, flavor, and atmosphere, Suda is an absolute must. Easily a 10 out of 10 and one of the best dining experiences in the area. The food is phenomenal. Everything tastes clean, intentional, and incredibly well done. No seed oils, no heavy or greasy aftertaste, just real ingredients cooked the right way. The flavors are unreal and you can tell so much care goes into every dish. The Suda burger is hands down one of the best burgers I have ever had. Perfectly cooked, insanely flavorful, and balanced in a way that keeps you thinking about it long after the meal is over. The ribeye genuinely melts in your mouth. Well I was told, but wanted to try myself for my birthday. Loved it when it was Skinny McDougal's. I ordered the pit boss burger and truffle fries. Burger was oily and the fries were okay No flavor. One friend ordered the pork pasta that had negative flavor. And my other friend ordered the carnitas tacos that were so oily and greasy and also had no flavor, meat was burnt. The waitress was nice she brought me over the salted caramel dessert with a white fluff topping. It was so salty and the fluff on top was like just white whipped eggs. It then took a long time to get our check. Mind you there we're two hostesses plenty of waiters and waitresses and yet the sous chefs were bringing out the food. Sorry folks won't go back. Does look pretty cool inside though.

This nice little American style restaurant in Pleasure Point was worth going to. The restaurant here focuses on American dishes, like hamburgers, but also has other offerings like fish tacos (which were some of the best I’ve had in a long time). This restaurant is located right downtown and is nearby other little shops. If you’re in the area, are you looking for something to eat, this is a great place to stop. This restaurant also has a really good assortment of cocktails and beer on draft. The restaurant has a dedicated bar that you can sit at or you can sit outside and enjoy the weather. Everything was clean, well organized, and the outdoor seating has some shaded areas and some unshaded areas. The service was also really nice. They were fast and our food came out pretty quickly afte

I have been eating here for years and love it. My wife and I had our wedding reception here 5 years ago and they did a wonderful job. If you want the best burger in town try the Pit Boss.
