Szechuan Mansion Hotpot _ Cary

I took my daughter here on Valentines day for a very special daddy daughter date. She gives it 5 stars! We loved the single pot portioned for 1 or 2 people. We got the tomato base with sliced lamb, sliced beef ribs, mushrooms and golden fried buns. The portion sizes were great and we really enjoyed making our own sauces. I made mine a bit too spicy, I was a bit heavy on the chili. For Valentines we got there around 6pm and had to wait a little over 90 minutes. It was worth the wait. We had some much fun and also beautiful memories. My daughter has already requested to come back for her birthday.

Excellent hot pot experience, they do only offer family style set ups so if you dine alone be prepared for your own big table and pot. Not the worst but it's a lot of food for one. Next time I wish would try or have a better recommendation. Other than that the food was great, fresh and well prepared. Very filling and delicious. Their level of spice is very on par.

It was our first time trying hotpot and it was amazing! We ordered the beef tallow broth mini and the mushroom broth with the sliced pork belly, sliced beef and the shrimp. The fried potatoes were delicious and sweet...my favorite. We also loved the fried pork belly, Thai tea and the lamb skewers. Everything was amazing!! A new favorite spot for us.

This restaurant, Dazhaimen Hot Pot, has become my favorite in the Triangle area of North Carolina! Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. We ordered the beef tallow spicy hot pot and the mushroom broth, and for appetizers we had the crispy potato cubes and the peppercorn chicken — both were excellent! The flavors are truly authentic Chinese, and the bingfen dessert was also amazing. The beef for the hot pot was very high quality, and the vegetable platter was only $10, which is a great deal. If you’re dining as a couple, they also offer very cost-effective combo options. Special thanks to Ms. Sarah for her warm, attentive, and enthusiastic service — it really made our experience even better! Highly recommended!

Great hot pot experience! The combo had a very generous portion and everything tasted delicious. The spice level was excellent and felt very authentic. The staff were also incredibly kind and attentive. I’d definitely come back again.
