Sweethoney dessert 杏記甜品

We ordered and paid through a little kiosk/self service machine that was right next to the door. We found that very efficient and convenient. We got the mango pomelo sago with vanilla ice cream. We got it to go, and it came in a cute little bag. The mango sago was refreshing and was so smooth and creamy. Loved the fresh mango chunks, and the citrus and sour like element from the pomelo. It wasn’t too sweet, I just wish there was a little bit more ice cream. It was a perfect treat after eating a heavy meal!

I’ve visited this dessert spot several times, and my first two experiences were generally positive. Hot desserts were served at the proper temperature, while iced selections arrived refreshingly cold, as expected. However, my most recent visit felt slightly off-key. I ordered two hot desserts—one arrived at room temperature, and the other was unusually dry and dense, falling short of what I had anticipated. As a result, my impression of the establishment is mixed. While earlier visits showed promise, this inconsistency gives pause. That said, I’m open to giving it another try to see whether this experience was an anomaly or a sign of a shift in quality.

The desserts are not too sweet which is nice. The waitress although very nice forgot to give me ice cream and when she did she got the flavor wrong. I would come back and try other flavors. The service is not good the second time I came in and the dessert didn’t taste fresh.

The food is delicious and not too sweet. Everything is very fresh. The shop is very clean, and the girl working the register is very nice. The wait time was long enough I bought food for my kids at another shop to eat while they waited as they were very hungry. It appears as though the girl at the register is the only employee on shift tonight. She is working very hard. I would strongly recommend ordering online if that lets you know when your order is ready as the wait time is much longer than expected for fast-casual dining. There are lots of shops to see and the area is fun to wander while waiting. But sitting at a table and waiting is less enjoyable. Again, the food is delicious and very fresh. If I were on a date, I would be pleased with the pacing and time to talk while waiting.

The boba drink I ordered was actually very good. Not overly sweet, with so much flavor and texture in it. I just wish that it was a little colder/chilled but overall ok. May take a while for a first timer to decide for there are too many items in the menu and some snacks were not available. This is more of a 3.5 stars rating but will sure come back and try some other items in the menu.
