Sweet Traditions

I’ve ordered two cakes from Sweet Traditions over the past two weeks and wow!!! They are incredible - from flavor to design to service! Couldn’t recommend them more, everyone at both parties was asking where the cake was from because they were so good.

As a wedding planner, I had a great experience working with Sweet Traditions on a wedding cake for one of my couples! Kaylyn did an excellent job walking our couple through the process of selecting flavors and choosing their cake design. She asked early on about any preferences on things, and when we sent her the inspiration image she did an amazing job creating something that fit their color palette and Winter Wonderland theme perfectly! The cake was both beautiful and delicious, and I can’t thank them enough for all of their work on this event!!

Sweet Traditions is a local bakery in the Wake Forest Crossing Shopping Center. It is in a strip of shops to the right of Lowe's Grocery store. They have a menu that changes weekly, offering a variety of cupcakes, cake slices, cookies, cookie dough, and other items. Some of the varieties, like vanilla chocolate, and wedding cake, are offered every week. German chocolate is my favorite so I keep watch to see when that is offered. But other offerings are creative like banana pudding, hot fudge sundae, They offer gluten-free cupcakes as well. Cinnamon rolls used to be a treat just on Saturdays, but are offered on Fridays now too. Around the holidays, you can pre-order pies, cakes and other specialized items. It has been in my experience in the past, that when I get cupcakes, they are always dry. My daughter took me to this shop yesterday and oh my goodness....Their cupcakes are sooooo good. We sat in the parking lot eating them bc we couldn't just try a bite. I will definitely be going back. Looking forward to trying their other sweet treats.

Sweet Traditions is such a great bakery! The shop is clean, bright, and so welcoming the moment you walk in. Their cupcakes and baked goods are displayed beautifully, and everything is labeled really well, which makes choosing so easy. They offer a wide variety of treats, including gluten-free options, which I really appreciated. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the overall experience felt warm and personal.
