Only giving a one star because I cant give 0. Absolutely rude employees. Waited 15 minutes for my dessert. Was handed the most watered down shake with a piece of frozen cheese cake on the side. Disappointed 😞

Friendly staff, wonderful selection of ice creams, and prices that cannot be beat. We love going to Sweet Sharlenes for ice cream when they're open and look forward to them being open every summer.

So pleasant to buy quality ice cream and have a comfortable place to sit down and leisurely enjoy it while supporting a valuable community service organization ! The prices are very reasonable so that the whole family can enjoy a treat !! There is a limited but consistent hot food menu as well as special ice cream desserts and milkshakes. Dishes instead of cones are available for younger children and gluten-free. This kiosk has convenient parking as well as easily accessible to wheelchairs and strollers for walking in.Bikes can be parked close by and secured. The line up of Athens Borough Business Association - sponsored Thursday summer music performances in the gazebo nearby is a reminder that we can enjoy our common space again and support Penn York Opportunities at the same time !

Prices have increased dramatically. I realize they need to be increased, but $1.50 for water n $1.50 for for a 1oz. bag of chips .🙄 I know water even at $1.00 a bottle is a huge profit . As for ice cream we will still patronize you business.

They serve Hershey's hard ice cream only, but have a variety of rotating flavors, and are the cheapest in town! $1 a scoop, $2 and $3 sundaes, and $4 banana splits! They serve $1 hotdogs, but for $1 more, you can get cheese, chili, or both on your dog! Speaking of dogs, you can get a doggie dish for your furry friends. There is free music in the park every Thursday in the summer, too. It's also a training facility for people with special needs to learn job skills and all the donations go straight to helping special needs people.
